In this time of COVID-19, the general public has a better understanding of how clinical research can translate for better patient outcomes, potentially on a global scale. It provides a unique opportunity and exciting time to be working in clinical research, and I am excited to see how my efforts and the efforts of clinical research personnel contributes to a common good in the next couple of years. As a project manager, I have clinical research experience across cardiology, cardio-oncology, and human genetics therapeutic areas. I provide leadership and management for 40+ clinical research projects from initiation to close-out, coverage analysis and resource allocation, and adherence to project timelines to ensure study deliverables are met. I develop budgets based on the coverage analysis and sponsor contracts, budget tracking and invoicing. I mange 4 direct reports, with all associated human resource tasks from hiring, training, performance management, professional development, and advancement, as well as 14 indirect reports. I lead cross functional teams and originate innovative solutions to ensure deliverables are met. My sponsors/CROs enjoy working with me for the positivity, problem solving, and expertise I bring to their projects. My direct reports appreciate support of their personal and career development while advocating for work-life balance.
